Un écrivain, Beqir, hanté par son passé et rongé par ses remords, décide d'écrire ses mémoires qui révèlent les événements tragiques qui se sont déroulés durant la seconde guerre mondiale et l'ont conduit à quitter sa ville natale. Poussé par sa femme, il parle de son amitié avec son ami que la seconde guerre a bouleversée.

Born on June 28, 1979 in Tetovo, North Macedonia, withdraws from the medical studies to start studying in the film school at the Academy of Arts in Prishtina, Kosovo. During his studies he made six short films: "The Forger", "Amnesia", "The Photographer", "Last View", "Whisper", "Behind the Darkness".
After completing his studies at the Academy of Arts, for a while he worked at the Theater of Tetovo and during that period he realised three documentary films: “Dying Life”,” Sunshine Over Sharr Mountain” and “Old Man's Last Stand”. "The Vanished" is his first feature film. Besides been a director he is also a writer and producer of all his film projects.
